This shows the sad end of the General Electric transmitter in November
2003       . One can also see the hole where once stood the Marconi transmitter to
the left of the GE unit. Would it have been so difficult to keep the
installation as a museum, instead of destroying it? Politicians say that sand,
stones and other old things are a piece of our history, but it seems that the
eye is not as blind as it should be, and politicians "do not care two
hoots" about Pals history.........
